Life is all about living to the fullest and seizing the moment but sometimes the very idea of "it's impossible" makes us demotivated towards achieving a specific goal or a dream. I for instance, would feel that climbing on the Mount Everest would be an extremely tough task for me - having no background of hill climbing and having never had the training for it, but as they say "nothing is impossible, the word itself says "im possible".
Hence, I list down the 5 things in my bucket list, which sure are hard but very much achievable with the idea that "everything is possible".
1) Playing cricket for the Indian team : so what if I'm 17! It's shocking but even Virender Sehwag, the much recognized Indian opener didn't start playing cricket till he was 16 and neither did Ganguly or Kumble, the latter starting his career after completing his education. Thinking about it, how would I look in that blue jersey *wonders*.
2) Creating a tech-savvy company : if Steve Jobs did it, he surely had something special in him but what's to say that we can't idolize him and follow his footsteps? Can't an Indian create a mega-giant tech empire like Apple? It's sure in my bucket list to make a mobile phone one day that doesn't need to be charged and will have a battery life as long as the phone runs and this can be achieved if I start a tech company of my own, so - what's say, any body wanna join the dream! :D
3) Going to London : for some reason, London has always fascinated me as a place to travel. The people, the classy life style, the Lord's stadium, the marvelous weather and the cuisine - it all adds up to making it a perfect place and if there was a place in my "bucket list" that I'd want to travel for sure, it'll be London.
4) Meeting Al Pacino : "whoo-ah"! Who doesn't love Pacino! The very "godfather" of acting, the very man who fought so many obstacles in his life - be it studying in Lee Strasberg university and sleeping on the stage of the theater to becoming the godfather we all so fondly love, it sure is a part of my bucket list to travel down to LA and surprise the genius that Pacino is.
5) Climbing Mount Everest : and FINALLY! We come to the last and the one I started this post with; climbing mount everest. Challenges sure are tough but only if you think about them as "not-doable". Whose to say that I can't climb Mount Everest or for that matter, who can't! It's the willingness to do the "possimpible" as Barney Stinson would say. A bucket list is all about the things that you'd love to do and hope that one fine day will find the time and the strength to "tick-off" the items in your bucket list and climbing mount everest is one of mine.
So then, seize the day and create a bucket list of your own and "live the life you always dreamed of".
