The past year has seen many incidents take place, some good and some not so. If I try to put all of them into this blog post, it'd be highly difficult for me to cover all the points. Keeping that in mind, let's stick to one of the most important topic of discussions, well usually i.e. - politics.
Indian politics had a very eventful year of 2013. Modi being named as BJP's next PM candidate, Congress showing faith in Rahul (giving him the post of VP and sending him for rallies) and the BIGGEST of them all - the emerging of AAP party. After 2013, Indian politics will forever be known as BF (before) and AF (after) AAP.
Not only did AAP stand in India's capital elections, it also managed to get 28 votes, which meant that it could form government with outside support, which it got from Congress (8 seats), meaning that it got the 36 votes of majority. BJP even with 32 votes didn't wanted any outside support and hence AAP had the chance to win the heart of the people with their work.
It remains to be seen how exactly AAP goes about doing its job but its certain that Indian politics has seen a significant change in 2013 and we're ready for a great 2014. With Lok Sabha elections just months away, lets see how these parties pan out their last and most crucial moves before the BIGGEST election among them all.
A very happy new year to you all, may this year bring us all great success.
May the best government come into power and take our country to great new highs. :)
