Knowledge is the 'wealth' everyone deserves

#KnowledgeIsGreat, without it there would be no reason for life. Getting to know/study about a wide variety of subjects, thinking/debating/discussing, shining your personality - it all relates to knowledge, without it frankly I don't see how our lives would pan out. Knowledge has made the world a place worth living. Behind every smallest of the development by human, the credit goes to the knowledge providing institutes which make us what we become. Below, I give my take on certain mass communication institutes in the UK, which I believe will be the perfect platform for me to showcase my talent and sharpen my personality and skills.

Study/Specialize in subject : Mass Communication

UK has been regarded as one of the most prestigious and renowned places to learn journalism. It's the home of the most well regarded news organization of the world i.e. the BBC -which provides news coverage like no other and has journalists par excellence and that's why it's the most beloved and most well respected news channel of the world.

As of today, there are more than 60 mass communication institutes in the UK alone, offering BA honors degree in Journalism. These are recognized by National Union Of Journalism (NUJ) or the National council for the training and journalist (NCTJ) which make their quality of providing knowledge intact.

One of the leading institutes in teaching of journalism in the UK is the university of central Lancashire, also known as UCLan. 'The Times' recognized it as one of the prestigious universities of Europe to learn journalism.

Another well known and recognized institute to learn journalism is the - School of journalism, media and cultural studies at Cardiff University. This university was formed by Sir Tom Hopkinson in 1970. The national council for the training of journalists ranked the university amongst the top in the academic year 2007/08.

The national student survey for the year 2009 and 2010, placed University of Sheffield as No.1 in the UK for overall satisfaction with journalism studies.

These are a few journalism institutes to name in the UK alone which are well recognized throughout the world for the top-notch studies they provide in journalism. The reason why I personally would like to go to UK and gain knowledge on Journalism is the very fact that UK has been the very country that has provided the world with plenty of high-quality journalists, some of whom have graduated from the very institutes I've mentioned above.

Mass communication is a field of special people, I believe. Not everyone can be a journalist nor can every institute provide good 'knowledge' of journalism. How a journalist will shape, depends solely on the quality of the institute he/she studies from. For instance, the universities I've mentioned above have made a name for themselves not because they provide 'studies' in journalism for the sake of it but because they have 'succeeded' in producing great journalists and that's what has made them 'prestigious'.

Hence, if I could specialize/study a subject of my choice in the UK, it would be Journalism. Top-notch institutes and highly respected in every aspect, makes UK the perfect place for me to gain knowledge on journalism.
